Glitter eyebrows… some might say they’re not for everyday wear, but for special occasions – so fun. I’ve found so many pictures on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest showing off this amazing new trend and some are really good. Playing with glitter is so fun, but don’t be afraid of the thought that this not-so-ordinary trend might not work on you. Play. You never know what you might find. Maybe a new favorite look!

Glitter eyebrows started right after the trend of glitter beards and vividly colored, glittery underarms came about. Seriously, is there a part of the body that people haven’t thought to glitter? Some might say “oh that’s too much,” while others think this is an amazing new trend and they just can’t get enough of it. And of course this came right in time for the holidays, but now that Spring is here, everyone needs a bit of sparkle in their life.

If you are skeptical on this glittery trend, I really encourage you to try it out. It’s super fun to do and see, and today is the day to learn how.

I want to also note that there have been many people who have tried this sparkly brow fad, and in the process, have lost part of their eyebrows. You need to be careful with the kind of adhesive you use. So PLEASE, make sure you do not use eyelash glue on your eyebrows. This was the cause of the untimely demise of many people’s eyebrows when attempting this look.

I have personally tried this look out with great success using products from Tricoci University’s student kits but any of these products can be purchased at your local beauty or makeup store. Plus, no sparse eyebrows here.

Products You’ll Need

“Stuck on You” by Color Lab (or Spirit Gum from Kryolan)
Color Lab Foil in “Bronze and Bronzed Frost”
Brow Wow Brush
Opti Cleanse by Repechage

Creating the Look

I used “Stuck on You” by Color Lab, a liquid base that makes any powder into a liquid. You can also use this product make a custom eyeliner color from eyeshadow or, as I have used it here, on your brows for a more secure application of color. I should also note that a water soluble solution is the best, whether it is water soluble Spirit Gum from Kryolan or “Stuck on You” from Color Lab.

First, mix one tiny scoop of the “Bronze and Bronzed Frost” with two drops of “Stuck on You” to make the shimmery glitter for the brows.

Next, apply your mixture to the eyebrow with your “Brow Wow Brush” using the angled end. You want to use short strokes in the direction of hair growth as if you were filling in your brows. The product will dry; however the hairs won’t.

Finally, use the spooly end of your brush to comb through the eyebrows. This will not take the product off, it will just comb the brows into place giving them a clean, sculpted look.

To remove the application, apply Opti Cleanse from Repechage. While it is a gentle makeup remover, it’s also conditioning and hydrating to your skin with physiologically filtered seaweed.

And you’re done!

I think that this bronzed glitter brow look is a great way to achieve this extreme sparkle makeup trend without having to go overboard.
