Our Esthetics school will prepare you for a wide variety of career options, which may include: Facialist, Waxing Specialist, Body Treatment Specialist, Medi-Spa Esthetician and Make-up Artist.

If you want to learn how to become an esthetician, Tricoci University provides the most current, technically precise and versatile esthetician training available in the field today. Upon completion of our course, our students will have a secure foundation in all aspects of esthetics. You will learn the scientific building blocks for skin: its function, properties and needs. We will provide you with the necessary education—theoretical, practical and artistry—to safely and professionally apply, perform and monitor an expansive list of services during your esthetician career. These services include basic and advanced skin care treatments, body treatments, hair removal, makeup application, safety and sanitation practices, and advanced facial massage.

Instructional Method

At Tricoci University, we seek to develop graduates in Indiana and Illinois, including in or near Chicago, who can surpass industry expectations and make contributions in areas that are important to employers—confidence and knowledge to provide leading edge services, ability to increase revenue through up-selling and retail sales of esthetician products, generating strong client relationships, and using superior sanitation practices.

To achieve this, we offer the most advanced in educational materials, equipment and facilities to cultivate an engaging learning experience. Your education is supported through the use of videos, demonstrations, guest artists, visual/practical presentations, lectures and hands-on experience. We monitor your education through practical and written examinations, making sure that you are well versed and prepared for the state board examinations.

Esthetics Curriculum Overview (750 hours; 6 months full-time, 9 months part-time)

Initial Classroom (“Essentials”) Training: classroom instruction covering general theory and practical application.
Scientific Concepts: primarily hands-on instruction on key technical concepts and science related to esthetics.
Practices and Procedures: primarily clinical application instruction covering a wide variety of esthetics procedures and methods.
