Nail Technology

[NOTE: this program is currently only available at our Indianapolis NE campus.]

The Nail Technology/Manicuring program will prepare you for a career performing manicures, pedicures, sculptured nails, nail art and other nail-related services.

If you’d like to become a nail technician, our nail technician school offers a great way to get started. Curriculum in our nail technician courses includes: Sanitation, Anatomy and Disorders, Statute and Rules, Manicuring, Pedicuring, Chemistry, Salesmanship, and State Laws. Sculptured Nail Techniques include: Tips, Sculptures, Overlays, Fiberglass, Gel Nails, Nail Wrapping, Acrylic Nails and Nail Art. .

The minimum requirement for Nail Technology/Manicuring in Indiana is 450 hours, but we believe that does not fully prepare a student to succeed as a professional manicurist or nail technician. The Tricoci University curriculum is 600 hours, which includes advanced sterilization, advanced nail treatment techniques, as well as more extensive personal and business training. In addition, these classes can help prepare you to earn your manicurist license (sometimes referred to a nail technician license), setting you up for success in your career.
