The Nail Technology program will prepare you for a variety of career options, which may include manicurist and pedicurist.
TricociUniversity provides the most current, technically precise and versatile education available in the Nail Technology field today. Upon completion of our course, our students will have a secure foundation in all aspects of nail technology. You will learn the scientific building blocks for nail services: including chemistry, sanitation & sterilization, anatomy and physiology. We will provide you with the necessary education—theoretically, practically and artistically—to safely and professionally perform manicuring, pedicuring, nail care, nail art and artificial nail enhancement. Our Nail Technology program far surpasses nail educational requirements, and allows you to quickly make your mark as a professional nail technician.

Your education is supported through the use of videos, demonstrations, guest artists, visual/practical presentations, lecture and hands-on experience. We monitor your education through practical and written examinations, making sure that you are well versed and prepared for the state board examinations.
Nails Technology Curriculum Overview (350 hours; 4 months part-time)
· Initial Classroom (“Essentials”) Training – classroom instruction covering general theory, practical application (i.e., practicing nail technology on the public) and technical application (e.g., practicing the technical application on artificial, mannequin or fellow students’ fingers)
· Practices and Procedures – primarily hands-on instruction covering a wide variety of nail procedures and techniques.
