The Teacher Training program will prepare you for a career as a Cosmetology, Esthetics, and/or Nail Technology Teacher. TUBC has revamped our schedule to run 3 days per week, which allows these students to continue to "earn while they learn" to be a teacher.
The program length depends on the discipline selected and your experience level:
- Cosmetology Teacher: 1000 Hours (12 months part-time)
- Cosmetology Teacher with Experience*: 600 Hours (7 months part-time)
- Esthetic Teacher: 750 Hours (9 months part-time)
*To qualify for the shorter program, student must have 2+ years of experience and maintain an active license during the program.
